Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated July 13, 2004, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) lease certain land containing 12.126 acres, more or less, situate at the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) Lunenburg Campus, and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" and shown outlined in red on

Schedule "B", which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation, at a rental rate of $150.00 for a Lease term of twenty (20) years, with a perpetual option to renew by the Lessee for a further period of five (5) years, and on such other terms as are satisfactory to the Minister of Transportation and Public Works; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a Lease Agreement in such form as the Minister determines, including the right for NSCC to sub-lease a portion of the property to the YMCA.
