Order in Council 429/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 501/2023, dated April 20, 2023, Madeleine Bodenstein was appointed as a member of the Regional Municipality of York Police Services Board for a period not to exceed three years, effective from April 20, 2023;

And

whereas the Regional Municipality of York Police Services Board was continued as a police service board under the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 on April 1, 2024;

And

whereas Madeleine Bodenstein continued in office as a member of the Regional Municipality of York Police Service Board under

section 31 of the Community Safety and Policing Act , 2019 ;

And

whereas Madeleine Bodenstein is deceased;

Therefore , pursuant to

section 27 of the Police Services Act and

section 31 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 , Order in Council numbered O.C. 501/2023, dated April 20, 2023, is hereby revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
