B.C. Reg. 197/2009 , deposited August 31, 2009, pursuant to the MINERAL TENURE ACT [Section 22]. Regulation of the Chief Gold Commissioner, dated August 28, 2009.

Schedule is made.

Schedule
Definitions
1 In this regulation:
"land" includes foreshore and land covered by water;
"tenure number" means the number given in the registry to the parcels and tracts of land that are subject to a particular placer claim and shown on an electronic map in the registry.
Reserves established
2 A mineral reserve for all placer minerals is established over the parcels or tracts of land identified by each tenure number set out in Column 1 of the Table.
Relief and condition
(1) The holder of a placer claim in a mineral reserve established under
section 2 is relieved from the obligation under
section 29 (
a) of the Mineral Tenure Act in relation to the placer claim for the period ending on the date set out in Column 2 of the Table opposite the tenure number for that placer claim set out in Column 1 of the Table.
(2) The relief provided under subsection (1) is subject to the condition that the holder of the placer claim register under
section 29 (
b) of the Mineral Tenure Act the date set out in Column 2 of the Table opposite the tenure number for that placer claim set out in Column 1 of the Table as the revised expiry date of that placer claim.
(3) Registration under subsection (2) must occur on or before the date the claim would expire but for this regulation.
(4) A refund may be made of the fee payable under item 10 of
Schedule B of the Mineral Tenure Act Regulation, B.C. Reg. 529/2004, for registration of a revised expiry date under subsection (2).
Repeal
4 A reserve established under
section 2 is repealed on the date set out in Column 2 of the Table opposite the tenure number for that reserve set out in Column 1 of the Table.
