Statute: Solemnization of Marriage Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Business and Consumer Services dated August 5, 1998, pursuant to

Section 14 of

Chapter 436 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Solemnization of Marriage Act, is pleased to: (

a) accept the resignation and revoke the appointment of Jean Brittain of Digby, Digby County, as a Deputy Issuer of Marriage Licenses, which appointment was made by Order in Council 96-756, dated October 16, 1996; and (

b) appoint Linda Walker of Brighton, Digby County, as a Deputy Issuer of Marriage Licenses, effective June 1, 1998.
