OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated October 24, 2002, and pursuant to

Section 40 of

Chapter 179 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Forests Act, is pleased to amend the Wildlife Habitat and Watercourses Protection Regulations made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2001-528 dated November 15, 2001, by striking out "primary forest products for the purpose of road construction" in clause 2(

e) and substituting "Christmas trees or a forestry operation whose primary purpose is to convert the land to a non-forestry use", effective on and after December 20, 2002.
