Statute: Industrial Development Act Provincial Finance Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development dated February 23, 2010, and pursuant to Sections 2, 3 and 5 of

Chapter 222 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Industrial Development Act, and to Sections 59A and 59C of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve environmental commitments for land described as Parcel W, Sandy Point, Shelburne Harbour, particulars of which are described in a Memorandum of Agreement between Nova Scotia Business Incorporated and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, as detailed in

Schedule "A", attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development dated February 23, 2010; (

b) amend Order in Council 2005-494 to include Parcel W in the environmental indemnity provided to officers and directors of Nova Scotia Business Incorporated; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and officers of Nova Scotia Business Incorporated to execute such agreements, indemnities and amendments, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
