EXPLANATORY NOTE NOTE EXPLICATIVE The Elections Act is amended to change election day for a general election and a by-election from Tuesday to Saturday. La Loi électorale est modifiée afin que le jour du scrutin des élections générales et partielles soit désormais fixé à un samedi plutôt qu'à un mardi.

c) is amended, in the part before subclause (i), by striking out "Tuesday" and substituting "Saturday". 2
