JOHN'S, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2001 No.40 URBAN AND RURAL PLANNING ACT NOTICE OF REGISTRATION TOWN OF CARBONEAR DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS AMENDMENT NO. 2, 2001 TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Carbonear Development Regulations Amendment No. 2, 2001, adopted on the 4th day of September, 2001, has been registered by the Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs. In general terms, the purpose of Development Regulations Amendment No. 2, 2001 is to reduce the rear yard development standard for the Residential Medium Density and High Density zones from 14m to 9 m.

The Carbonear Development Regulations Amendment No. 2, 2001 comes into effect on the day that this notice is published in The Newfoundland Gazette. Anyone who wishes to inspect a copy of the Carbonear Development Regulations Amendment No. 2, 2001 may do so at the Town Office, Carbonear during normal working hours.

Schedule Beginning at a point in the shoreline of Southern Head at the eastern entrance to Backside Cove; Then running south 47° west, a distance of 2,967 meters, more or less, to a point in the cer ter line of the main highroad, that point being ap- proximately midway between the Towns of Duntara and Keels; Then running south 62° west, a distance of 2,775 meters, more or less ; Then running south 20 east, a distance of 3,117 meters, more or less ; Then running north 650 east, a distance of 7,572 meters more or less to a point in the shoreline of Fishpoint Gulch on the western shoreline of Blackhead Bay ; Then running in a generally northwesterly direction along the sinuos ties of the shoreline via Broad Head and Broad Cove to the point of beginning.
