OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Acadian Affairs and Francophonie and the Minister of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage dated February 16, 2024, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , and
Section 6 of
Chapter 26 of the Acts of 2004, the French-language Services Act, is pleased, effective on and after May 2, 2024, to approve the Minister of Acadian Affairs and Francophonie and the Minister of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage entering into the Canada-Nova Scotia Agreement on Minority-language Services 2023-2024 to 2027-2028, substantially in the form set forth in Appendix “C” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the Agreement.
