OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated February 2, 2010, and pursuant to clause 18(1)(
a) of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act, and Sections 8 and 10 of
Chapter 103 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Corrections Act, is pleased to: (
a) revoke the appointment of Robert Chisholm of Porters Lake, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Correctional Facilities Employee Relations Board; (
b) appoint Linda Power of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Correctional Facilities Employee Relations Board commencing February 23, 2010 and ending April 28, 2011; and (
c) determine that the remuneration for Linda Power be at a rate of $2000.00 per annum, and, in addition $150.00 per day while sitting as a board member at a hearing, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by her in the discharge of her duties.
