OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated January 20, 2025, and pursuant to clause 7(

a) and clause 16(1)(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) sell Crown lands currently identified as PID 41549833 containing approximately 2.2 hectares (21,778.3 square metres), being formerly a portion of PID 00480509, as shown outlined in bold on

Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to the Sambro Community Enhancement Society, or its approved successors or assigns, for $1.00, plus HST, as applicable; (

b) enter into an option agreement with the Sambro Community Enhancement Society for an option to repurchase the Crown lands if the Society does not use it for community purposes; and (

c) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
