Section 9 of the Dairy Industry Act I certify that the Natural Products Marketing Council, pursuant to

Section 9 of

Chapter 24 of the Acts of 2000, the Dairy Industry Act, at its meeting on October 9, 2008, carried a motion to (

a) repeal the regulations respecting producer and distributor licence fees, N.S. Reg. 86/2002, made by the Natural Products Marketing Council on June 11, 2002; and (

b) make new regulations respecting distributor licence fees in the form attached as

Schedule “A” Regulations Respecting Distributor Licence Fees made by the Natural Products Marketing Council under

Section 9 of

Chapter 24 of the Acts of 2000, the Dairy Industry Act Citation 1 These regulations may be cited as the Distributor Licence Fees Regulations. Definition of “net milk receipts” 2 In these regulations, “net milk receipts” means receipts from producers net of any transfers of raw milk and bulk unpackaged cream to or from other provinces or processors, including the amount deducted for dipstick-to-meter shrinkage.

Distributor licence fees 3 A distributor of fluid dairy products to whom a licence has been issued must pay a fee of $0.25 per hundred kilograms of butterfat to Council for Council services based on the total number of kilograms of butterfat that make up the net milk receipts during each calendar month, to be paid no later than 25 days after the end of that calendar month.

Chapter 240 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Judicature Act, is pleased, effective on and after October 21, 2008, to determine the following manner of publication of the revision of the Civil Procedure Rules made by the judges of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and the revision of the Civil Procedure Rules made by the judges of the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, under the Judicature Act on June 6, 2008, (the revisions), instead of publication in the Royal Gazette: (

a) publishing the revisions online on the Courts of Nova Scotia web site; (
