B.C. Reg. 238/2006, deposited July 21, 2006, pursuant to the SMALL BUSINESS AND REVENUE STATUTES AMENDMENT ACT, 2006 [Section 15], and the GREATER VANCOUVER TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY ACT [Section 167]. Order in Council 581/2006, approved and ordered July 20, 2006.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

1 Sections 1 to 3 of the Small Business and Revenue Statutes Amendment Act, 2006 , S.B.C. 2006, c. 17, are brought into force, and

Section 6 of the Parking Tax Regulation, B.C. Reg. 347/2005, is renumbered as

section 6 (1) and is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) (

b) by striking out "the number of parking spaces" and substituting "the number of taxable parking spaces", and

(

b) by adding the following subsection:

(2) Despite subsection (1) (b), the taxable parking area of, or the number of taxable parking spaces on, property referred to in

section 143 (3) (

c) of the Act is to be determined with reference to the physical condition of the property on December 31 of the year in which the parking site roll is completed.
