Statute: Expropriation Act Finance Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated March 21, 2023, and pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act , and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to: (

a) authorize the conveyance of surplus property identified as PID Nos. 60383742 and 60430808, located at 270 and 280 Logan Road, Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, more particularly described in

Schedule "A" and shown on

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the conveyance and exchange of PID Nos. 60383742 and 60430808, located at 270 and 280 Logan Road, Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, to Michelin North America (Canada) Inc., a body corporate, in exchange for PID 60383759 and parcels of land identified as Parcel H, I, and E, located at or near Logan Road, Bridgewater, Luneburg County, from Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. to His Majesty the King in Right of the Province of Nova Scotia, as represented by the Minister of Public Works; (

c) authorize the Minister of Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the land herein above described; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Public Works to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
