OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries dated May 16, 2005, pursuant to Sections 4 and 5 of
Chapter 8 of the Acts of 1993, the Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission Act, is pleased to nominate, for appointment by the Council of Atlantic Premiers, as members of the Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission, (
a) Frank Balcom of Amherst, Cumberland County, as representative of Mainland Nova Scotia; (
b) Russell Newman of North Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as representative of the region of Cape Breton each for a term of office as determined by the Council of Atlantic Premiers.
