OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated November 14, 2018, and pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act , is pleased to: (

a) authorize the disposal of certain lands, two parcels of surplus land, Parcel “A” and Parcel “B”, at or near Grand Lake Road, County of Cape Breton, more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and shown on

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the exchange and conveyance of two parcels of surplus land, Parcel “A” and Parcel “B”, containing an area of 40,501.0 square feet, to Pauline Caldwell and Mitchell Caldwell, Grand Lake Road, Cape Breton County in exchange for the Release of a Driveway Easement off Grand Lake Road, Cape Breton County, containing an area of approximately 9,000 square feet, to the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, for the nominal consideration of $1.00; (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to affect the conveyance of the lands herein above described; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purpose of this Order.
