OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education dated August 2, 2006, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 8 of

Chapter 449 of the Acts of 1989, the Student Aid Act, and Sections 59A(

a) and 59C(1) (

a) to (

d) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize, and ratify and confirm the approval for, the Minister of Education to enter into the agreement with the Royal Bank of Canada dated July 31, 2003 attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation as

Schedule "A" for a further term commencing August 1, 2006 and ending July 31, 2008; (

b) authorize the Minister of Education, during the term of the aforesaid agreement with the Royal Bank of Canada, to sign certificates of eligibility for loans guaranteed by the Province in accordance with the Student Aid Act.
