OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education and Culture dated April 6, 1999, pursuant to

Chapter 8 of the Acts of 1991, the University Foundation Act, is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Rosemary Scanlon as a member of the St. Francis Xavier University Foundation, which appointment was made by Order in Council 96-797 dated October 29, 1996; (

b) pursuant to

Section 5(1)(a), appoint the following persons as members of the St. Francis Xavier University Foundation each for a term of office commencing May 1, 1999, and ending April 30, 2002: John T. Sears, D.B.A., of Antigonish, Antigonish County, and Donald R. Munroe of Chester, Lunenburg County; and (

c) pursuant to

Section 5(1)(b), appoint Iain Boyd of Antigonish, Antigonish County, as a member of the St. Francis Xavier University Foundation for a term of office commencing May 1, 1999, and ending April 30, 2001.
