OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated April 14, 2009, and pursuant to

Section 45 of

Chapter 3 of the Acts of 1992, the Dental Act, is pleased to approve amendments made by the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia to (

a) the Qualifications for Registration and Licensing of Dentists Regulations, N.S. Reg. 163/93, approved by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 93-858 dated November 2, 1993, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) the Specialists Regulations, N.S. Reg. 164/93, approved by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 93-858 dated November 2, 1993, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, to create a new category of licensure for foreign-trained dental specialists, effective on and after May 20, 2009.
