Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated February 18, 2020 and pursuant to

Section 46 of

Chapter 1 (1992 Supplement) of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the House of Assembly Act ,

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act , and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , and all authority in him vested is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Neil Ferguson as Chief Clerk of the House of Assembly, effective February 19, 2020; (

b) appoint Annette Boucher as Acting Chief Clerk of the House of Assembly, effective February 19, 2020; and (

c) designate Annette Boucher as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act .
