OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated October 18, 2007, and pursuant to
Section 42 of
Chapter 1 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Environment Act, and
Section 5 of N.S. Reg. 27/95, the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board Regulations, is pleased to: (
a) reappoint Anthony C. Blouin of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a Member and designate him as Chair of the Environmental Assessment Board, for a term of three years commencing November 18, 2007; (
b) reappoint Dr. Ray Cranston of Waverley, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a Member of the Environmental Assessment Board for a term of three years commencing November 18, 2007; (
c) reappoint Penny J. Henneberry of Kentville, Kings County, as a Member of the Environmental Assessment Board for a term of three years commencing November 18, 2007; (
d) appoint Jamie Burke of St. Peter's, Richmond County, as a Member of the Environmental Assessment Board for a term of three years commencing November 18, 2007; (
e) appoint Einar Christensen of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a Member of the Environmental Assessment Board for a term of three years commencing November 18, 2007; (
f) fix the remuneration for the Chair of the Environmental Assessment Board at $400/day for each day the Chair attends to business of the Board, in addition to necessary and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by the Chair in the discharge of his/her duties; and (
g) fix the remuneration for the members of the Environmental Assessment Board at $150/day for each day a member attends to business of the Board, in addition to necessary and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by a member in the discharge of his/her duties.
