OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated February 29, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and

Section 59C of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to approve the terms and conditions of the Canada - Nova Scotia Provincial-Territorial Base Funding Agreement, which contains a clause pursuant to which the Province is required to indemnify Canada, and to enter into the "Agreement" with the Government of Canada on behalf of the Province of Nova Scotia, including all Schedules attached to and forming part of the "Agreement", and to execute the "Agreement", in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation effective on or after March 18, 2008.
