OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated September 28, 2001, pursuant to Sections 7 and 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the issuance of a grant or deed by the Minister of Natural Resources to convey a parcel of Crown land containing an approximate area of 5 acres, situate at Lyons Brook, Pictou County, and shown outlined in red on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, to Grant Ernest Forbes and Donna Marie Forbes, husband and wife, both of Truro, Colchester County, their heirs and assigns, for the consideration of approximately $2250.00, with the exact amount to be determined by multiplying the value of $450.00 per acre by the acreage of the parcel of Crown land as determined by survey, subject to an option, in favour of the Province of Nova Scotia, to re-purchase all or any portion of the land conveyed, at any time within 50 years of the date of its conveyance to Grant Ernest Forbes and Donna Marie Forbes, the said re-purchase to be for the consideration of market value at the date of the exercising of the option, as determined by an accredited appraiser, excluding the value of any improvements placed on the said lands by Grant Ernest Forbes and Donna Marie Forbes or their heirs and assigns, and to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
