OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated May 11, 2006, pursuant to Sections 2(a), (b), (d), 6, 15, 16(1)(

b) and (g), and 34(1)(

b) and (

f) of

Chapter 30 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 2000, the Nova Scotia Business Incorporated Act, and Regulations thereunder, Sections 2(1)(o), 5(1), 8(2) and 9(1)(3)(4), and to Sections 59A(

a) and 59C(1) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve Nova Scotia Business Incorporated Board's decision to provide financial assistance by way of a payroll rebate to I.M.P. Group International Inc. in an amount not to exceed $3,174,045.00 as outlined in the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated May 11, 2006; (

b) consent to Nova Scotia Business Incorporated Board's decision to provide financial assistance by way of a term loan to I.M.P. Group International Inc. in an amount not to exceed $17,000,000.00 as outlined in the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated May 11, 2006; (

c) authorize the Minister of Economic Development to execute such agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
