OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism and Culture dated November 8, 2001, and pursuant to

Section 13 of

Chapter 438 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Special Places Protection Act, is pleased, effective November 16, 2001, to: (

a) continue the Stop Order of the Minister of Tourism and Culture dated October 17, 2001, made pursuant to

Section 13 of the Act respecting certain land in Bedford referred to in the Stop Order, commencing November 16, 2001, until the carrying out of an archeological site survey and, if necessary, a site investigation and salvage under the direction of the Museum in respect of the land; and (

b) order that the developers named in the Stop Order shall cover the costs of any archaeological site survey, investigation and salvage referred to in paragraph (a).
