OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated December 17, 2020, and pursuant to
Section 3 of
Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2010, the Auditor General Act, and
Section 10 of
Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, and
Section 18 of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act is pleased, effective May 3, 2021 to: (
a) with the approval of the House of Assembly by majority vote, appoint Kim Adair-MacPherson as Auditor General for a term of office of ten (10) years; (
b) designate Kim Adair-MacPherson as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act; (
c) direct that remuneration, benefits and other terms and conditions of Kim Adair-MacPherson's appointment be outlined by contract.
