OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy dated March 14, 2025, and pursuant to subsections 4B(1) and 4B(2) of
Chapter 25 of the Acts of 2004, the Electricity Act , and pursuant to Sections 7 and 26A of
Chapter 32 of the Acts of 2015, the Marine Renewable-energy Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Power Advisory LLC as Procurement Administrator for the one-time procurement of marine renewable energy through an open license call under the Marine Renewable-energy Act , effective immediately and ending upon the issuance of the licenses and power purchase agreements, subject to the terms and conditions present in the Agreement attached as
Schedule “A”; (
b) authorize the Minister of Energy to enter into an Agreement with the Procurement Administrator for the procurement of renewable marine energy through an open license call, substantially in the form set forth in
Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, including any future amendments as agreed to in writing between the parties.
