OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Canada Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act, the Offshore Petroleum Royalty Act, the Pipeline Act and the Petroleum Resources Act dated July 29, 1998, and pursuant to subsection 3(4) of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and to
Section 18 of
Chapter 235 of the said Revised Statutes, the
Interpretation Act, is pleased to appoint Dr. Patricia N. Ripley, Ph.D, as Acting Deputy Minister responsible for the Canada Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act, the Offshore Petroleum Royalty Act, the Pipeline Act, the Petroleum Resources Act and the Energy and Mineral Resources Conservation Act, effective on, from and after June 30, 1998.
