WHEREAS police and peace officers make valuable contributions to the safety of Manitobans; Attendu : que les policiers et les agents de la paix contribuent de façon notable à la sécurité des Manitobains; 1

AND

WHEREAS police and peace officers take risks every day to protect Manitobans; AND

WHEREAS some police and peace officers are killed in the line of duty; AND

WHEREAS it is important to pay tribute to the hard work, dedication and sacrifices made by Manitoba's police and peace officers; AND

WHEREAS the Government of Canada has officially proclaimed the last Sunday of September of every year as Police and Peace Officers' National Memorial Day; AND
