An Act to Amend the Political Process Financing Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: 1 Paragraph 2(1)(

c) of the Political Process Financing Act,

chapter P-9.3 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1978, is repealed and the following is substituted: (

c) a loan granted for political purposes at a rate of interest not below prime at the time it is granted, pro- vided (

i) the loan repayment terms provide for regular periodic payments which are consistent with those in the commercial financial market, (ii) the loan repayment terms are filed with the Su- pervisor, and (iii) proof of payments made by the political party under the loan repayment terms are filed with the Supervisor; PROJET DE LOI Loi modifiant la

Loi sur le financement de l’ac- tivité politique,

chapitre P-9.3 des Lois du Nouveau- Brunswick de 1978, est abrogé et remplacé par ce qui suit :

c) un prêt consenti à des fins politiques à un taux d’intérêt non inférieur au taux préférentiel au moment où il est consenti, si les conditions suivantes sont réunies : (

i) les modalités du remboursement, qui prévoient des paiements périodiques réguliers, sont compa- rables à celles en usage dans les marchés financiers d’affaires, (ii) les modalités du remboursement sont déposées auprès du Contrôleur, (iii) une preuve des paiements faits par le parti po- litique conformément aux modalités du rembourse- ment est déposée auprès du Contrôleur;
