OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated November 1, 2006, and pursuant to subsections 18(1), (2), and (4) of the General Blasting Regulations made under
Section 82 of
Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is pleased to: (
a) reappoint Paul Caza of Upper Tantallon, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters for a term of office of three years commencing November 20, 2006; (
b) fix the remuneration for Paul Caza at the rate of $100 for each day he attends as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters, to the business of the Board, in addition to reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (
c) reappoint Alan W. Miller of Newport, West Hants, as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters for a term of office of three years commencing November 20, 2006; (
d) fix the remuneration for Alan W. Miller at the rate of $100 for each day he attends as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters, to the business of the Board, in addition to reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by him in the discharge of his duties.
