Order in Council 1490/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council O.C. 1489/2018 dated December 27, 2018 the position of Special Advisor on Indigenous Affairs (“Special Advisor”) was established;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario to provide for the remuneration of persons who serve her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive operations and responsibilities, the following remuneration rates have been determined:

Remunerations and Expenses

The Special Advisor shall be remunerated at the rate of $1,000 per day, to a maximum of $70,000 per year.

The Special Advisor shall be eligible for reimbursement of expenses incurred in carrying out the duties of the Special Advisor in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet Travel, Meal, and Hospitality Expenses Directive .
