OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated March 26, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 4 and subsections 9(3), (4) and (5) of

Chapter 45 of the Acts of 2005, the Professional Planners Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Terry Farrell of Amherst, Cumberland County, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Licensed Professional Planners Association of Nova Scotia for a term of office of three years commencing May 1, 2008; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Terry Farrell, and indemnify him from personal liability, provided that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
