OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated October 9, 1998, and pursuant to

Section 2 of

Chapter 104 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Costs and Fees Act, is pleased to, effective on, from and after October 15, 1998, amend the regulations respecting fees and allowances made by Order in Council 90-558, dated May 8, 1990, as amended by Order in Council 1998-455 dated September 16, 1998, by: (

a) striking out ", the Family Court and the Family Division" in item 1(

c) of

Schedule "C"; (

b) repealing item (9) of

Schedule "C" and substituting the following item: "9 (

a) Requesting an adjournment of a hearing to a new date in the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal within the 30 day period preceding the date on which that hearing was scheduled to be heard $200.00 (

b) Requesting an adjournment of a trial to a new date in the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia within the 90 day period preceding the date on which that trial was scheduled to be heard $200.00" and (

c) striking out "(14)" in items (16) and (17) of

Schedule "C" and substituting "(15)".
