OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Nova Scotia Boxing Authority dated January 7, 1999, pursuant to subsections 3(1), (3) and (4) and to

Section 4 of

Chapter 43 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Boxing Authority Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Boxing Authority, each for a term of office of three years commencing February 1, 1999, and ending January 31, 2002: R.H. Dick' MacLean of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Ricky K. Anderson of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; and John Myers MacNeil of Sydney Mines, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; (

b) appoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Boxing Authority, each for a term of office of two years commencing February 1, 1999, and ending January 31, 2001: Murray Sleep of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; and Francis Rocky' MacDougall of Antigonish, Antigonish County; (

c) designate R.H. Dick' MacLean of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as Chair of the Nova Scotia Boxing Authority; and (

d) appoint Hubert Earle of Upper Sackville, Halifax Regional Municipality, as Referee in Chief of the Nova Scotia Boxing Authority for a term of office of two years commencing February 1, 1999, and ending January 31, 2001.
