Order in Council 1236/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1928/2013, dated December 11, 2013, Dr. Fiona Smaill, was reappointed as a part-time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council, effective from the 16th day of December 2013, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years from the effective date of her appointment;

and

whereas pursuant to subsection 8(3) of the Coroners Act , as amended, the Lieutenant Governor in Council may designate one or more members of the Death Investigation Oversight Council to be Vice-Chairs;

therefore pursuant to subsection 8(3) of the Coroners Act , R.S.O. 1990, c. C.37, as amended, Dr. Fiona Smaill is hereby designated as a part-time Vice-Chair of the Death Investigation Oversight Council for the duration of her appointment, as a part-time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council, under Order in Council numbered O.C. 1928/2013 dated December 11, 2013.
