OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Workforce Development dated September 1, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 475 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Trade Union Act, is pleased to approve the amendments made by the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia) to the regulations governing trade union procedure, N.S. Reg. 101/72, made by the Labour Relations Board and approved by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 72-933 dated August 29, 1972, to remove the forms from the regulations, change the definition of "member in good standing" and the criteria for proof of membership, and introduce expedited hearing procedures relating to jurisdictional disputes, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after September 28, 2010.
