OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated March 23, 2006, pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, as amended, is pleased to approve the entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency for the implementation of the Foreign Animal Disease Emergency Support (FADES) plan as a preemptive approach to minimize the potential outbreak and spread of animal diseases within the Province, substantially in the form set forth in
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the agreement and such additional operational agreements and appendices as are necessary to implement the agreement.
