OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission Act dated February 2, 2010, and pursuant to Sections 3, 4 and 6 of

Chapter 7 of the Acts of 2005, the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission Act, is pleased to: (

a) re-appoint Wayne Mason of Waverley, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member and designate him as Vice-chair of the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission for a term of three years commencing March 15, 2010; (

b) determine remuneration for Wayne Mason as Vice-chair of the Halifax- Dartmouth Bridge Commission to be $12,000 per year plus expenses; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Wayne Mason and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment to the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
