OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy dated July 24, 2015, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to authorize the Minister of Energy to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, represented by the Minister of Natural Resources, and the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board, which clarifies the roles and responsibilities with respect to Aboriginal consultation and accommodation in the Nova Scotia offshore for oil and gas activity, substantially in the form set out in
Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
