OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated January 8, 2025, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased, effective on and after February 18, 2025, to authorize the Attorney General and Minister of Justice entering into a Data Sharing Agreement with His Majesty the King in Right of Canada respecting the provision of substance-related death data by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service in the form set forth in
Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the Agreement.
