Cape St. George Municipal Planning Area

under the

Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000

Under the authority of

section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000

I define the following area as the Cape St. George Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point on the highwater mark of the southern shoreline of the Port au Port

Peninsula

in St. George's

Bay

, that point being the most easterly point on the Cape St. George Municipal Boundary;

Then north 27

30' west 2,657 metres, more or less, to a point;

Then south 86

01' west 3,975 metres, more or less, to a point;

Then north 75

22' west 1,045 metres, more or less, to a point;

The north 81

45' west, 1,538 metres, more or less, to a point;

Then north 62

04' west 1,297 metres, more or less, to a point;

Then north 25

32' west 778 metres, more or less, to a point on the high water mark of the Port au Port Peninsula on the western shoreline;

Then in a southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to the westernmost extremity of the Port au Port

Peninsula

Then in an northeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline, passing Cape St. George, Petit Jardin, Red Brook, DeGrau and Marches Point, to the point of beginning.

All bearings refer to Grid North and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50000 National Topographical Series, NTS, digital mapping; UTM, NAD 83.
