OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated January 20, 2000, pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system containing 61,921 square feet, more or less, situate at or near Porters Lake, Halifax County, and more particularly described as Lot 1T in

Schedule "A" and shown outlined in red on

Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (

b) convey the said land to Lakeview Shopping Centre Limited, a body corporate, incorporated pursuant to the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, for the price of $7,405.00; (

c) quit claim to a parcel of land containing 15,766 square feet, more or less, situate at or near Porters Lake, Halifax County, and more particularly described as Parcel A in

Schedule "A" and shown outlined in red on

Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute Deeds of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines.
