The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and

Forests dated the 4th day of October, A.D., 1984, pursuant to

Section 2 of

Chapter 244 of the

Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1967, the Provincial Parks Act , is pleased to:

(

a) constitute all that area of land situate at Long Lake and Spruce Hill Lake, in the

County of Halifax, owned by Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province

of Nova Scotia, to be a Provincial Park, the said area of land being described in

Schedule “A” and shown outlined in red on Department of Lands and Forests

Plan No. P-122/84 marked

Schedule “B”, both Schedules attached to and

forming part of the report and recommendation; and

(

b) declare that the park shall be known by the name of “Long Lake Provincial

Park”.

All those certain two lots, pieces or parcels of land situate lying and being in the Long Lake and

Spruce Hill Lake area of Halifax County, Province of Nova Scotia, shown as Lot “A” and Lot

“B” on Department of Lands and Forests Plan No. P-122/84 and being more particularly

described as follows:

Lot “A”

All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being on the southwestern side of

the North West Arm Drive, the northwestern side of the Old Sambro Road and the eastern side

of Route Number 333 in the City of Halifax, and the County of Halifax, Province of Nova

Scotia, shown as Lot “A” on Plan Number P-122/84 on file in the Surveys Division office of

the Department of Lands and Forests, Halifax, said Lot “A” being more particularly described

The above described Lot “A” being subject to Lease No. 3234 dated the 12th day of

February, A.D., 1982, issued by the Crown to the Public Service Commission of Halifax for the

purpose of maintaining and using a pipeline and gate house.

Further subject to Lease No. 3211 dated the 12th day of February, A.D., 1982 issued by the

Crown to the Public Service Commission of Halifax for the purpose of maintaining an existing

wooden conduit.

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural

Resources dated the 12th day of March, A.D., 1993, pursuant to

Section 8(

b) of

Chapter 367 of

the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia 1989, the Provincial Parks Act , is pleased to approve the

reduction in the size of Long Lake Provincial Park, in the County of Halifax, so constituted by

Order in Council 84-1189, dated the 9th day of October, A.D., 1984, by approving the

withdrawal from the park of approximately 3.046 hectares of Crown land shown outlined in red

on the plans marked

Schedule “A” through “D”, attached to and forming part of the report and

recommendation, for the purpose of construction of a ramp connecting Trunk #3 to Northwest

Arm Drive and to facilitate the upgrading of the Old Sambro Road, and to authorize the

Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the

purposes of this Order.
