OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated April 30, 2003, pursuant to Sections 16, 17 and 94 of

Chapter 475 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Trade Union Act,

Section 9 of

Chapter 1 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1995-96, the Education Act,

Section 20 of

Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1995-96, the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre Act,

Section 381 of

Chapter 18 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1998, the Municipal Government Act,

Section 41 of

Chapter 4 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia 1995-96, the Community Colleges Act, and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the said Revised Statutes, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Gregory I. North, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member and Vice-chair of the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia) and as an alternate member and Vice-chair of the Construction Industry Panel, for a three (3) year term of office commencing May 3, 2003, such appointments to be only for the time and for matters in respect of which Peter Darby or Bruce Archibald is unable to serve as Chair or Vice-chair, as the case may be; and (

b) fix the remuneration of Gregory I. North, Q.C., at the rate of $300.00 for each day he attends a meeting of the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia) as a member and Vice-chair or the Construction Industry Panel as an alternate member and Vice-chair, in addition to actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties.
