Statute: Public Highways Act Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated April 26, 2007, pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, and

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system shown as Parcel C containing 14,783 square feet and Parcel D containing 12,470 square feet, more or less, situate at or near Harbourview, in the County of Inverness, and dispose of certain lands shown as Parcel A containing 7.76 acres and Parcel B containing 2.32 acres, more or less, situate at or near Harbourview, in the County of Inverness, and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" as shown crosshatched in red on

Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (

b) convey the land to Ephraim Massey of Montreal, in the Province of Quebec, for the price of $6,500.00; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines.
