OIC Number: 2007 - 114 Date of Order: Mar 02, 2007 OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated January 26, 2007, and pursuant to Order in Council 81-1422 dated November 17, 1981, which Order approved the establishment of Trade Centre Limited, and pursuant to Order in Council 85-342 dated April 2, 1985, and pursuant to the Articles of Association of the Trade Centre Limited, and pursuant to all other authority in her vested is pleased to: (a)\x09reappoint Wayne Crawley of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Directors of Trade Centre Limited for the period commencing March 4, 2007 and ending March 3, 2011; (b)\x09appoint Frank Anderson of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, as a member of the Board of Directors of Trade Centre Limited for the period commencing March 4, 2007 and ending March 3, 2011; (c)\x09appoint Christopher T.

Conohan of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Directors of Trade Centre Limited for the period commencing March 4, 2007 and ending March 3, 2011; (d)\x09appoint Carole-Ann Miller of Fall River, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Directors of Trade Centre Limited for the period commencing March 4, 2007 and ending March 3, 2011; (e)\x09appoint Paul A.

Gurr of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Directors of Trade Centre Limited for the period commencing March 4, 2007 and ending March 3, 2011; (f)\x09authorize the payment of $100 per day, plus reasonable expenses to the members of the Board for work involving the Trade Centre Limited; and (g)\x09order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against the above appointees of the Board of Directors of the Trade Centre Limited and indemnify them from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
