An Act to Repeal certain Statutes (Assented to , 1968) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as The Statutes Repeal Act, 1968. 2. The following enactments are repealed: (

a) The Bull Exchange Act, being

chapter of the Revised Statutes; (

b) The Live Sto:ck Encouragement Act, being

chapter of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 1922; (

c) The Live Stock Public Markets Act, being

chapter of the Statutes of Alberta, 1939; (

d) The Pure-bred Bulls Purchase Act, being

chapter of the Statutes of Alberta, 1930; (

e) The Pure-bred Sire Area Act, being

chapter of the Revised Statutes. 3. This Act comes into force on the day upon which it is assented to. Explanatory Notes 1. This Act repeals certain statutes. 2. The five Acts Listed :above are all to be repealed because they are outdated and no longer in use. Title: 1968 (16th, 1st) Bill 29,
