OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forestry dated February 11, 2020, and pursuant to subsection 7 (

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minster of Lands and Forestry: (

a) acquiring approximately 45.4 hectares (112.24 acres) of land located at Westfield, Queens County, Nova Scotia, being identified as PIDs: 70260914; 70137260; and 70137211, and shown outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, from George Eddy Company, Limited or its approved successors or assigns for a purchase price of $135,000 (plus HST if applicable), subject to the condition that George Eddy Company, Limited or its approved successors or assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
