Order in Council 513/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the position of Special Advisor, Chief Investment Officer was established by Order in Council number O.C. 512/2017, dated March 8, 2017;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint advisors to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Allan O’Dette

is appointed Special Advisor, Chief Investment Officer, effective April 18, 2017, reporting to the Minister of Economic Development and Growth, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years from the effective date of this appointment.
